The 2025 State Rally will be held in Geraldton from Friday April 4 to Sunday April 6 2025.
Attendance at the rally is open to all current members of all associated ACCWA clubs.
Location
We will be staying on the junior oval, Brigades Football Club, Eadon Clarke grounds, Geraldton WA.
The rally will have access to a large level well grassed area surrounded by fence with easy access to the Highway and Clubrooms.
There is no access to power but there will be access to water. There are lights that will remain on until approximately 10pm at night. The clubrooms do have showers and toilets that we will have access to, in addition there will be portable toilets around the oval.
Geraldton
Geraldton is the only city on the coral coast, it is rich in history and has a laid-back coastal vibe. A short 50-minute flight or a 4.5-hour drive from Perth it has established itself as a contemporary coastal hub. Cafes, shops, street art, galleries, with gorgeous beaches provide a mix of relaxation with a perfect mix of things to see and do. The region of Geraldton extends south to historic Greenough, and Ellendale Pool, a stunning naturally formed pool along the Greenough River, inland to Chapman Valley home of rolling hills, scenic drives, wildflowers and microbrews, and Mullewa situated in the heart of wildflower country but also rich with architectural heritage. Finally, to the west you will find the Houtman Abrolhos Islands, home to a unique marine environment that mesmerises all that visit. Dive into the coral-fringed waters, snorkel alongside curious sea lions, discover the Batavia, an atmospheric shipwreck site. Whatever you choose an unforgettable underwater world awaits, a pristine archipelago brimming with beauty, marine adventures, and history.
Climate
The climate in April is dry, it does not rain often, in fact April is the perfect time to visit.
The climate is quite enjoyable in the city of Geraldton in April. Temperatures are up around 27c the seasonal minimum is 22c. Thus, the mean temperature average in April is 24c. There is approximately 11.24 hours of daylight with sunrise at 6.39am and sunset at 18.03.
Registrations
ACCWA would like to suggest that clubs put the State rally into their yearly program instead of having the usual monthly rally. We are aware some Clubs are now booking caravan parks along the way for March 2025.
At this stage we are not yet ready to receive registrations but once that process is ready, we will let everyone know.
